Job Title: Social Media Marketing Manager

We are a young award-winning non-profit organization that is dedicated to preserving the environment and reducing plastic pollution, with more that 4,000 volunteers in over 100 countries. We rely on our social media platforms to raise awareness of our mission, engage with our audience, and encourage action. If you love social media and have a passion for the preservation of our environment, we are looking for a Social Media Marketing Manager to help us create and implement effective social media strategies.

As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing social media strategies that align with our organization's goals and objectives

• Creating engaging and high-quality content for our social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and others)

• Growing our social media presence and increasing engagement with our audience

• Monitoring and analyzing social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of our strategies and make data-driven decisions

• Staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices and sharing your knowledge with the team

• Collaborating with other teams in our organization to ensure that our social media activities are aligned with our overall mission.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and writing skills

• Experience in social media management and content creation

• Knowledge of social media platforms and their best practices

• Ability to analyze and interpret social media metrics and make data-driven decisions

• Creative mindset and ability to come up with engaging content ideas

• Passion for the environment and a desire to make a difference

• Ability to work independently and remotely.

This is a volunteer position that can be done remotely from anywhere in the world and the time you are willing to commit is entirely up to you. We are looking for someone who is passionate about social media and marketing, committed to our mission, and willing to make a meaningful impact on our organization and the environment.
